EC Variance?? (in General)

The following line is when I fight Goldminer.
Brand cast Ethereal Chains on all enemy Minions (159898)

The line below is when I fight _everyone_ else on my fightlist.
Brand cast Ethereal Chains on all enemy Minions (132151)

Why is there a difference? I thought EC was non-dispellable and constant.
