Just thinking, why does phantom link stop absorbing damage when the guy on the receiving end dies? Aka a 2k HP PL minion and another minion. Other minion gets hit by 20k MM. PL minion absorbs 2k and no more.
Tanks, mages, basically for every other type of damage, forcing overkill is a valid way to stop the damage for one round. The ubiquitous 20HP enchanter is a good example. Now, PL just on-the-dot kills the minion using it, which means 1. no overkill and 2. lost killslot
So, why can't the PL guy just gather his strength and fully eat one last blow, or heck, stop when he's at 1HP?
