CB on the go. (in General)

Not sure how the formatting on this post will turn out, so apologies if its a bit of a run on paragraph. Irecently obtained an LG Voyager, which is a phone with pretty decent internet capabilities. It was part of te reason for me returning to CB- the ability to burn ba at work or on the go. does anyone else have experience using cb on mobile devicesM so far i was able to log in and have access to forums, however i get an error whenever i fight or inspect an opponent. mst of the links in the left panel seem broken when viewed in a mobile browser. I just updated to a newer os on it and that has significantly improved my ability to browse more complex websites... just wondering wheat i can do if anything to bring it up to a functional level. Guess for now ill keep fooling around with settings and see what i can work out.

If I remember correctly, some people use this page (http://www.carnageblender.com/opponents-favorites.tcl) to travel to once they're logged in (you need to be a supporter and add them to your favorite's list), to hit the 'Fight' button.


Sorry I'm not of any other help; I don't use any mobile devices for running CB.

typing this from my iPod Touch at the moment - can't say I have the same sidebar problems, everything seems to work fine here. Only problem is not knowing the password to my school network ;)

I use the Sony Ericsson K800i and have played CB with it for about 1.5 years. It works but is not the best...

The sidebar totally messes with my phone and it sounds like you have a similar problem. There are workarounds though :)
I've had to ignore the sidebar altogether and now just store the specific urls I need in my bookmark and navigate to them directly.

e.g. I have my fightlist stored as a url. I access it and fight each target once, hit back, and select the next hitting back after each fight. Not pretty, but it works.

I store all other important urls and access them direct too - chatmail, forums, auctions, businesses etc... all accessed direct.

You can get most of the urls simply by right clicking and opening in a new window - copy the urls in your phone and you should be good from there.

i have the att tilt with windows mobile 6 and can say the favorites list works perfectly. in fact the only thing i cant get to work so far is chat (no java chat support stuff) and the get more ba. and the links that i was given work for that just fine!

anyone have a direct link to the settings or chatmail page? dont have a full browser available and google is not so helpful at the moment.

Thank you all for the help and suggestions. Got it working perfectly now, favorite opponents and some direct linking seems to have done the trick.

If you're not already aware of the sidebar direct url then you can navigate to it via this url: http://carnageblender.com/sidebar.tcl

It's a good one to have as it's the only one that lets you see what your remaining BA total is whilst also opening up the quick links to you without having to go through your bookmarks. Pity that the fight and get more links don't work from here though.

Good call. I can live without the get more link till I'm home from work etc.... mostly just the ability to prevent ba waste is what I'm after.

Personally I buy BA in multiples of 50 so I've bookmarked two links, one for 50 and the other for whatever the balance was as I was working the 9/20, 8/20 etc refresh rates.
