Probably going to become a supporter shortly. Was wondering if i should hold out for a new supporter item, or if the AoL is at all viable for a Tank/Archer team.
Im at a bit of a crossroads as to what emphasis i want to put on my tank... ie heavy ac tank, bloodlust high dps/med ac tank, regen tank, evasion tank, or whatever else i might come up with later on. My archer im reasonably solid on what gear/specializations i will be going for.
Anyways, my question is: is it worthwhile to have an AoL on my tank (who will theoretically live for a while if hes doing his job) and have a noticeably bonus to the pth on my archer, or more worthwhile to my team to have an amulet of ac? If an AoL isnt decently viable for a 2minion team, do they at least sell decently well/is there a market for them?
I do not yet have a large pool of resources, having just come back to the game... so trying to plan ahead.
It really doesn't matter what the supporter item currently is, as it might be 3 months or more before you see another one and you don't want to wait that long.
If the AoL doesn't do it for you, sell it. You'll still be a supporter. ;)
What he's saying is that if you buy the current supporter item, you can also buy the next supporter item. In fact you will always be able to buy 1 of the CURRENT supporter item if you are a supporter. Its the old supporter items you can't buy (except from a fellow player). So if you pass up the AoL, you won't be able to buy it any more when a new supporter item comes out. The thing is, the AoL is pretty weak. Do you want to spend the money on it? That's the real decision.
worst case scenario: you sell the AoL for a partial amount, and then pay someone to buy the next supporter item for you. you make a small CB lost, and gain the benefit of being a supporter in the meantime.
