Loved the old Popeye show, Tom n Jerry & Mickey mouse
Newer shows include Shawn the sheep, Spongebob

manga isn't a cartoon, it's "graphic novel"ism.
The other word you were getting at roughly translates to "perverted"...
I personally find much enjoyment in 'Family Guy', but as far as "ever" goes, I'd have to say I've still gotten 10 times more entertainment in my life from 'The Simpsons' than I have from any other show ^_^

yes and no... Those citing anime (Japanese animation) were still citing their favorite cartoon... To exclude that would be the same as asking a favorite desert, but leaving out German chocolates :P

The old ghostbusters cartoon was great.
Southpark is right up there, as well as Muppet Babies.

The Smurfs are now available on DVD! Scooby-Doo was totally great, except the ones with Scrappy-Doo.

oh the memories. I enjoyed Thundar the Barbarian as well as Thunder Cats and Voltron was it?. But... oh gosh, can't believe I"m gonna do this,
Top Cat, the indisputable leader of the gang;
Grape Ape;
and Glum aka "we'll never make it, we're doooomed" made my day with the Adventures of Gulliver. Gotta love the Banana Splits.
