Unable to hide my email... (in New players)

Everyone,

I am a new player here at CB. I am online quite a bit and get lots of junk mail, so I was dismayed when I couldn't disable the "let other users see my address" function under settings. I tried clearing my cache and re-logging in, but this didn't work, any tips?

Settings > Basic information (Update) > Uncheck the box.

That should work for you.

Don't worry about junk mail from CB though - it won't happen. It's also unlikely that anyone will access your info from an external source (ie another user) in order to spam your mail.

In saying that, you should still be able to hide your address if this is what you want to do. I'll highlight it to jon to see if we can get it fixed.

I tried that, several times, and even cleared my cache between attempts, and the address is still visible. Is there another solution I am missing? I just want my issue resolved, I have some butt to kick LOL.
