SoD Question (in New players)

Do you need to train archery with a sling of death to be effective?
Not sure if you do as it is not in the wiki.

Nope. Archery only works with bows.

what would be a good skill for my character then? i just unlearned archery and was thinking evasion or bloodlust.

Evasion.

Evasion will break ya through to a higher level of opponent, especially on a tank that has it's own trained DX...

Alternatively , you could always use UC, which would allow you to put any net worth that you would normally throw into a melee weapon into your SoD, and get evasion at the same time...

BL won't help much if you're specializing on SoD damage... I've found BL tends to be more for crossbow-using tanks...
