Figure it out. (in Contests)

{cb2}ShadeSlayer March 4 2008 8:47 PM EST

ok i am going to start a weekly contest.

Every week there will be a new question, you will have to pay 2500CB for each guess.

You may only guess 1 time a day.

When you guess you must also post the transaction data in the same message box. Two consecutive posts will get you a warning the first time, the second time you will not be able to participate for 1 week.

The week will start on Tuesday and end on Monday.

The question for this week is:

How do you get 6 9's to equal exactly 100?

(Hint you may use Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals... But no other digits.)

Send all monies to Figure It Out

{cb2}ShadeSlayer March 4 2008 8:50 PM EST

All monies made each week will go to the respected winner, if the weekly prize is not won, then the monies will continue for the next week.

I don't get anything from this contest.

(9*9) +9 +9+ (9/9)

Xenko March 4 2008 8:52 PM EST

Xenko (The Gambit) Mortach Demal (Figure It Out) $2500 -- Contest 8:52 PM EST

99 + 9 - 9 + 9/9 = 100

QBOddBird March 4 2008 8:52 PM EST

((9 * 9) + 9) / 9 + ((9 * 9) + 9) = 100.

That's close enough to 6 of them.

QBOddBird March 4 2008 8:53 PM EST

you didn't ask for a specific answer, you asked "How do you get 6 9's to equal exactly 100?"

and two people gave you answers already.

{cb2}ShadeSlayer March 4 2008 9:36 PM EST

Ok since i didn't ask for a specific answer, you can all have your money back. Please post that you have received.
