A 3D slideshow wall add-on (in Off-topic)

This is a pretty cool add-on that allows you to view images on a 3D wall with a few other nice gimmicks.

I liked it and thought I'd share. I've been using it for a few weeks, the kids love playing on google images with it and it works on most browsers. From what I can see it doesn't come with any "baggage" such as spyware etc, and appears completely safe and fun to use.

I've got it. I don't see it as great, seems to make the pictures blurry, even when focused. And it doesn't show all the images (I'm referring to myspace).

Never tried it on myspace, but it works well with the others I've tried. As for the pictures being blurry, that only happens to me when they're first "grabbed" they come into a very sharp focus as the page finishes loading. You won't be able to get the best from this unless you have a reasonable internet connection speed.

If your images are blurry flamey and it's not a bandwidth issue at your end then it's most likely due to the uploaded resolution of the image you're trying to view, rather than the application itself.

Using google images this 3D wall looks great on my PC for example and come through very sharp and clear. Like I say, it depends on the resolution of the upload and has nothing to do with the application itself.

sorry I mistyped. I just don't like it being blurred when its not focused on that particular picture. I don't want to see every photo zoomed in, but I'd still like it to be clear if I scroll through. I'd mainly use it for MySpace so it gets pretty pointless, does only 20? or so photos.

I guess it only does 20 or so pics on myspace because that's all that's actually on the page..?

The link I posted shows over 4.3m pictures for example. They're also (the vast majority) in perfect focus for me when viewed on the wall. I guess the problem you're getting is most likely due to the application not being well integrated with myspace.

Oh well, I still think it's kinda neat. :)

Awww. I was gonna check it out, and then I caught this line: You won't be able to get the best from this unless you have a reasonable internet connection speed.

I've had it for a while, it's amazing.

It works perfectly with facebook and smugmug :)
