Is there a way to avoid getting the caster damaged in melee rounds when the caster uses fireball? If yes, then what is it?

Nope, that's the downside of fireball.

all you can do is hope to reduce the damage. armor, ToE... what have you. (i didn't look at your character tho, just saying)

If you have only one minion, you won't have to worry about the damage also.
You could get a ToE instead of the fire familiar.
