HoE vs HoC (in General)

I having a hard time figuring wich one is better on a tank ill like some input from the community.

HOE pro

Higher base AC 11 point
more STR useful vs EC team
lower PR weight

HOC pro

extra round and that rounds is at 1.2.

HoC cons
Evasion and evasion

HoE cons
Not suited for archers

Looking at your setup I think you need a HoE, with an axbow you really don't need the extra round. And you get more AC to boot! Great for a melee tank

With that setup, you definitely need a HoE. The evasion multiplier of the round doesn't matter to you, you aren't hitting any evasion minions with 25k dex anyways.

I did not mean for my own char.

The both serve their roles. Asking which one is simply better is like asking arms or legs are more useful. Depends on what you're doing.

QBOddBird March 19 2008 10:28 PM EDT

GW, arms are obviously far better.

Cube March 19 2008 10:29 PM EDT

Oh well now personally I'd only use a HoC as a single minion archer with a ToA, or something similar.

"GW, arms are obviously far better."

that's fairly true.

Wizard'sFirstRule March 22 2008 1:21 AM EDT

I believe base AC for HoE is AC6

Bad analogy, FTW
