2H weapons need some love (in General)

I think the differences between two-handed and one-handed need to be made more pronounced. Right now, the top base damage weapon in this game is going for 300k-500k base.

I think some refactoring of the 2H weapons are in order; to make it so that people actually WANT the highest damage weapon in the game. I

Now for ideas on the changes:
You can't have a tattoo equipped and a cloak, or a power shield. So instead of putting a penalty on wearing a shield with 2H weapons, make it so you CANNOT wear a shield with a 2H weapon. Then increase the damage of 2H weapons. I would even consider introducing a DX-enhancing 2H weapon to the mix.

Morg has been selling for 1mil + at based last I looked. BoNE has been rather unpopular for the most part, but I think the damage advantage it has over Morg is pretty significant. Built-in VA is hard to pass up though. BoTH is selling worse than Morg I think. Nobody wants an ELS and VB's price is pretty depressed considering its rarity. Actually, all melee weapon other than Morg sells for pittance... for good reasons... Latest ranged change is anything but good news for melee tanks.

Example 1: The executioners sword is crap, nobody ever uses it for anything. A weapon with less base damage is used much more then this weapons (VB). This isn't mitigated by anything. 2H weapons just suck, they don't give enough advantages to justify NOT having that extra AC that a shield gives.

Comparing Exec sword with VB is a bit of a stretch, considering Exec sword is not even a rare or a member of the big 5 weapons. A comparison to Morg would be more appropriate.

Morg is the best weapon out of the big 5!! I suppose I can use katana as a counter example for exec sword. No one uses katana as well. Morg>BoTH, and BoNE>ELS. VB is a special case.

If anything, a boost need to be given to those non-VA weapons - BoNE and ELS (or nerf the VA ones).

I think BoNE is underestimated. It was significantly buffed before and the damage is very sweet. Most people still consider the VA to be more important t hough.
