ok i am still a new player(being a nub) and i am wondering how to forge.
i try it once but its rather unclear now as i try it back and failed to forge

can someone make an example(let say i want to forge the x on a dagger)

what can happen while forging? is there moment where its better to forge? wacky forge time? how much does it cost to forge and are their trick to know when we forge? please help New user to forge by giving me an example of what to do with a dagger: Viciousness 30, 7 (Uses 11 BA / Cycle)

OK, find a forging formula, like the 30,7 you have.

Select the forge, and select the dagger and choose to upgrade its viciousness (or x)

Then you select "heat for 10 minutes" and click do it 3 times (which heats it 30 minutes, the first part of the formula)

Then select "cast spell of viciousness" - the rough progress meter should increase.

Now select "quench for 1 minute" until the rough progress meter goes up again.

Select "heat for 7 minutes" which doesn't exist, so heat for 5 then heat for 2.

Then cast spell of tempering - the rough progress meter should increase a lot.

Quench until the meter goes up again.

That's one cycle.

Redo until you like what you get.
