Train to level (in Changelog)
Verifex has added train-to-level as an option on the train page. Thanks!

Got a server error when I try to train any of the training options.

"Got a server error when I try to train any of the training options."
Same.
Whoa, the error is more serious than just a server error.
I had over 3.9m XP. I "trained to level" an increase of 200,000. That costs 2.4m XP. I now have zero XP and I'm shy about 80k levels from what I purchased (ie, I got about 120k levels instead of 200k levels.)
That's a large amount of lost XP.
Correction - I started at level 1,800,000 and I made it to level 1,962,610. So I missed about 40k levels, not 80k. That's still 2,080,000 XP that wasn't applied and has been lost from my character.
Training a single point using the "One" option still works properly (albeit with a server error... but the train still takes place).
And doing so doesn't restore the several million lost XP :(
the server error was just verifex screwing up the fb integration after everything went through. that's fixed now.
train-by-level seems to be working fine. if someone can reproduce this then I suppose we'll have to load this morning's backup.
I just tried training by using the 1/4 1/3 1/2 and max and I got an error stating that seems to be an invalid xp amount.
i can't seem to train at all now, just wanting to put max in fb and i get this:
Hmm, doesn't seem to be a valid amount of XP.

When trying to train using "Max."
"Hmm, doesn't seem to be a valid amount of XP."

"Train by Level" is listed twice on any item that is not base, so pretty much anything that has had atleast 1 exp trained to it it shows "Train by Level" twice. and of course like all the other I get the "Hmm, 0 doesn't seem to be a valid amount of XP."
> "Train by Level" is listed twice on any item that is not base, so pretty much anything that has had atleast 1 exp trained to it it shows "Train by Level" twice.
no, Train by XP and Train by Level are two different things
> and of course like all the other I get the "Hmm, 0 doesn't seem to be a valid amount of XP."
trying to figure out wth is up with that :(
When you use train to level or train to xp it normally pops out a small window where you can type, I see nothing popping out.
if you still haven't disabled "the verifex script" then it's probably not going to work.
> trying to figure out wth is up with that
fixed
I don't have the verifex script anymore. But it still doesn't work for me.
Using FF 2.00something
you have to restart your browser after removing the script.
that stupid thing is a support nightmare. die die die greasemonkey :(
I needed to clear my cache and cookies before I got it to work on FF
NS: what minion and stat were you training?
Anyone else: any problems with train by level? other than "i don't know what it does" or "i havn't uninstalled the verifex script so it does not give me a popup?"

None Jon... works a treat just like Fex's script used to work. You'll be happy to know that GM is now turned off, but I certainly hope some of the other minor tweaks are in the hopper for future enhancements. I really like being able to fight a character from within the "Recent Battles" window.

It does not give me a popup and I am not using Verifex's script nor do I have Grease Monkey installed. I am using FF 2.0.0.13.

Tried with IE 6.0 and it works.
If you don't get a popup something is wrong on your end and I can't help you debug other than what I have already said. Perhaps you need to clear your cache as well. Good luck.

>"no, Train by XP and Train by Level are two different things "
The "Train by Level" was listed twice, I can read and I do know they are different.
The cause of the duplicate was the script issue, I disabled it and all is well, thanks jon
I take it everyone's issues with this are resolved then?

Started at level 1,800,000
Did "Train by level", 2000000
For the record, I'm doing this in IE6, so there was no greasemonkey involvement.

My stuff is resolved. Thanks.
If it helps, after the train I was left with 119 EXP (not zero), and the level had gone up to 1,962,610, which is 1,951,320 XP (a difference of 162,610).
as of this morning's backup at 3 AM server time, your stats were
id | hp | st | dx | exp
--------+---------+--------+-------+---------
157100 | 1800000 | 850000 | 31882 | 1930378
now they are
id | hp | st | dx | exp
--------+---------+--------+-------+------
157100 | 1962610 | 850000 | 31882 | 7144
it looks like you were just mistaken and had 1.9M exp instead of 3.9.
hmm... well that's a huge relief then. Sorry for the noise.
btw, thank goodness for logs!

The Cancel button of the "Train by XP" window doesn't work correctly. When it is clicked, you get an error message instead of just seeing the window disappear.
same goes for train by level.
