Is the new change even helping UC? (in General)

I respect all the changes that have been made to accomodate UC, but it still is not useful enough to be used as a single minion skill purely because it uses up too much XP. Quite useless as it has no added advantage unlike archery or any other skill.

I would like to have the opinion of the top UC users in CB

can i just say that that the reason it takes so much exp is that it grants some evasion plus covers the cost of a melee weapons so what u save in cb$ u can spend on ba to boost the exp u put into it

You can heavily supplement physical attributes with CB$ (by buying huge NW weapons) but not the other way round that easily. Some gears are just too costly, while others give only linear benefits specifically in case of UC.

UC has the following advantage:

1) doubles as evasion, meaning you can literally get an evasion wall with offensive power.
2) CBless weapon, that means you can free up encum to equip other things, a good Exbow or a sod come to mind.
3) Most super boosted stat in the game, makes up for the exp requirement.
4) Cheap and incredibly high PTH. Multihit potential makes up for the pathetic damage, somewhat

Now that UC gives 33%+50% = 83% of level in evasion, I think it's looking good as a skill, most likely in a rather defensive setup.

No, it's 33% * 1.5 = 50%

It's a Mage Tank, and will always have its place as that. You don't need USD to use it.
