Question : Junction and Amulet of Leadership (in General)
April 12 2008 6:58 AM EDT
Say I get an Amulet of Leadership and place it on a single minion that also has Junction trained up to 1.00, and a familiar tattoo.
Does that mean that as long as both the familiar and the minion are alive, one of them (the one in the back) gets the bonus from the AoL ?
Yeah, I know it SHOULD be like that.
But I'm asking, anybody actually done it yet and can confirm it works ?
mmmm you would think since a familiar acts as an extra minion they wouldn't even need junction trained for the effect
the AoL has to be on the minion in the front so if your familiar is in the back of the minion, i don't think it'll work.

If the minion is the first in line (i.e. if the minion has no weapons and no DD), then yeah, you don't need junction.
But junction is supposed to "transfer" item effects onto the familiar (DB/AoI/HoC/AG/NSC and so on get "transfered" for sure), so if you do have juncton trained at 1.00, one would expect the familiar to act as if it has an AoL himself, even if the AoL is on the minion, since junction should "copy" the effect over.
Like I said, in theory, it should work just fine.
I was asking if anybody actually tried it :)

1st minion(no dd spells/weapons)(with junction/no junction)
1st minion(dd spell)(junction)(affected)
1st minion(dd spell)(no junction)(not affected)
think this is what happens
Jon specifically stated as much...

I need to work on my forum rummaging skills :)
Feb 8, Jon said "Any minion behind a leader gets the bonus. A familiar junctioned to a minion with leadership will also have leadership. So if the familiar is in front, the minion he junctioned from will get the bonus (but the familiar with not, since he is the new leader). "
However, he said something else which is a bit puzzling...
"> does the amulet give an new effective level to DD spells for targetting purposes
No. Is this a bug? Probably. "
What does that question he answered to mean ?
And, obviously, his reply too, what does that mean ?

Oh nevermind, understood it meanwhile... he means which minion a mageseeker bow is shooting at.
