easy advice... (in General)

That's what I'm looking for, and it should be easy to give. I've never had any idea what I'm doing, and now that I've got a little money to toss around I thought it would be a good idea to get some advice. I am clay, mold me... just dont make a tobacco water pipe out of me or something ^_^
