Question on exp vs MPR (in General)

Bartman May 9 2008 8:03 PM EDT

Does anyone know the correlation of exp to MPR? What I'm looking for is a formula that show, for instance, how 7 mil exp will translate to MPR when trained.

Anyone have the answer and the formula?

since the stats cost more and more as you train more exp that would be an impressive formula

I thought the cost stayed constant at 12 exp per level. A correct Weapon allowance formula would be nice too :)

EXP = MPR*(1.4307*(MPR^0.2501))
or solving for MPR
MPR = (EXP/1.4307)^(1/1.2501)

WA, I got's nothing.

The Weapon NW Allowance is roughly .8475 times all the XP your Character has trained. This number is pulled from fexy's script that has been shown to be damn close to accurate. (of course, you have to halve the old rate of 1.695 due to the recent halving of WA)

Cool! Thanks DP. Where did you find the formula?

Lochnivar May 9 2008 10:08 PM EDT

That formula was figured out about 1yr ago for a forum thread of the same title... perhaps should be put in the wiki since it's useful.

(I calculated the original MPR to EXP formula, Mian converted it to figure EXP to MPR... both formulas are less than 1% off in most cases))

Thanks again! :)

One question... What does the ^ symbol mean?

Lochnivar May 9 2008 10:56 PM EDT

exponent (to the power of)

the symbols are courtesy of excel

Thanks, I thought that might be it but I wanted to make sure.
