Help remember an online game? (in Off-topic)

This is just a shot in the dark. I played an online game for a while, which had some similarities to CB. It was free, online, browser and text based. You were either holy, evil, human, technology based, and maybe one or two others. You studied up spells, units, and then bought units and waged wars against others near yourself. You would send in a few uber-angels against an army of thousands of ghouls and destroy them. It would reset every few weeks or so.

lol I know that probably describes a thousand different games, but I'm just hoping someone can guess the game. It was fun, but I can't remember its name for anything. I hope it didn't disappear, although it has been a few years. Any ideas?

I think I've played this game. It had something to do with "castle". Arg. You described it almost exactly too. >.<

but, I do not think it has technology. Everything else is as you described though, I remember when I played it you would spend time researching spells or units, etc.

Were it Bariagan's game, you might also have known it as Archmage. The-Reincarnation is a clone of that game, which was hosted by MARI.

I think that is it Bariagan, thank you! It looks completely different than I recall, the name doesn't sound familiar, the units are all different... yet the game mechanics look like a match to what I remember. That's awesome, thanks!

Now I just gotta hope they haven't sucked up all the fun out of it lol.
