Come and play SWAT 4 with me! I already have 2 others playing, so 3 total, would be great if we could get at least one more, for a full squad of 4 or 2 squads of 2.

Do you have to buy this game? Is this like Rainbow 6 Vegas?
I would assume its something like rainbow 6, though I've never played. Basically, it is very team-oriented combat, realistic gameplay and a very big emphasis on teamwork.
And for god's sake, don't trust teammates with the pepperball.
Rainbow 6 at about half the speed, and twice the strategic planning. Damage you take makes you slower and less accurate. Barging into a room usually means your men end up as a pile of corpse. Bad guys RUN and HIDE!
Team plays okay, but as the above poster mentions, game usually ends with a team mate getting bored and shooting you.
Love the single player, but some people don't have the patience to be play in a team :) How are you going to play and when? Love to play, but very limited time nowadays.
At the moment, I'm really the only one of the group who has played a lot, so we are just going through the maps trying to get better and learn to work as a team, with the occasional breakdown into a homicidal rage.
We'll be playing mostly at night (EST) but on weekends any time for the most part. We have a teamspeak server that we use and it would be great if everyone who joined us got that as well.

If it's free I'll get it but if not you can get Counterstrike: Source for οΎ£5. And that's one of the best online first person shooters out there.
I've played the demo of SWAT 4. If it's free (or maybe in the bargain bin) I'll play it. Slayer, I never thought you played other games. Although I should have guessed by the amount of lurking you do. =P

I would recommend Counterstrike: Source if you want to play online FPS, alot of it just playing with random people; but if you want team play usually a bunch of people make a team and have scrimmages usually 5 on 5, if you're good you can enter tournaments and make lots of $$ and get sponsors. I've played alot of games over the years, and this is the only game I always go back to but I only play casually. It takes a decent amount of time and skill to be good at the game, of course strategies and tactics help but mostly its skill at killing other people.
Pfft, 99% of my lurk time is spent playing other games :)
