Newb Idea (in General)

In chat they were talking about how the economy is and that the USD to CB$ rate has fallen.
I thought of an idea and im not sure how it'd work but im just throwing it out there, it may make no sense cause im not to sure yet how excactly things work.

So, heres the idea:
1. Rares do not spawn in auctions anymore
2. In order to get a rare to spawn, you must obtain the right amount of votes at the Black Market
3. Charge players a varying amount to buy a vote, based on there current total Net Worth (ranging from say $10k-$100k)
4. If the item gets enough votes it spawns in auction and can then be bid on.

Why?
1. This would create a cash sink for the votes purchased (could be millions per item)
2. It would also create a cash sink for when the item is sold, like we have currently.
3. You would be able to control what you wanted in the auctions.

So, thats my idea don't get to angry if it's totally stupid, im just trying to help out.

Not a bad idea, but sounds... Difficult to do. Simply put, the games needs ALOT of rares. Balancing the rares we need and how much CB the game brings in (and so can use on votes for rares) would be..... Hmm... Hard =)

it would make sense though

A price for the votes, definitely. But stopping all rare spawn from other sources? Uhm... I dunno.

If you don't, there's little to no incentive to pay money for votes.

I will vote for this idea, but only for 4mill! Thanks, and look forwarding to voting for you!

Well, half the spawn rate would do the trick, some items already don't spawn that much.
Idea is good though.

you were able to buy votes in the past, i remember saint paying to spawn a few things in cb1. I'm sure there was a reason this was removed though.
