FireFox 3 Theme Problems (in Off-topic)

Ok, so I've decided that I want to try out themes on my FireFox browser. I decided on the Aquatint Black Gloss 3.0.1, but I can't seem to get it to work right.

Right now, I have a Problem with the start bar

My problem is that the top is black, but the status bar/start menu bar is the default gray. In the preview shown for the Aquatint Theme, both are black. It's the second image of the 3. I want both black too, so how do I do that?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!!

"This theme is my basic version. While this theme maintains the majority of the features of my premium version, some things were left as the default theme settings in order to minimize appearance and performance issues.

For my premium version of Aquatint Black along with other themes including color variations of Abstract and Aquatint, visit my new site at http://www.virtusdesigns.com

The premium themes will continually be improved and updated in order to minimize issues with extensions and appearance. "

Solution: Use a theme that is actually free. And not ugly as sin.

Well, the only themes I liked were from him, and I don't know how to install the deviant art ones that Jenn recommended. :(

Anyway, I like this one. And the start menu is black in the free version.

I don't understand... *growls*

The start menu has nothing to do with FF. It's your windows theme that needs to be set.

how do I set my windows theme?

I just presumed Hakai was talking about the status bar.

To change the windows theme to anything besides the defaults, you need a third party program. The most common of these are (well, used to be) Windowblinds and styleXP. I think you need to pay for both and I'm not sure if there are any new programs around to do this.

There are some free windows themes around. Most suck, some are okay.
