Question about AoL in-battle stats (in General)

QBOddBird June 19 2008 9:48 AM EDT

My Ranged PTH stat on my Halidon doesn't change between battles where my AoL minion died or when he lived. Does AoL simply not show the PTH addition, or is what I'm seeing my PTH with AoL and it is actually lower than that once he dies?

AoL doesn't show to DD either. So most likely, you're getting the AoL effect, but it's just not showing. ^_^

AoL and BoF do not appear on the battle stats unfortunately.

My suggestion to Jon:
Similar to the way damage in post-battle stats shows a difference between direct damage and reflective damage such as AMF with the /, why not do the same with BoF/AoL? Show the stat while the minion is alive first, and then / followed by the stat if the minion dies.

much easier said than done... then, once done, it creates a sloppy post-battle mess. If not kept in check, our post-battle stats will eventually become so complicated, you'll need a 4-year degree in Carnagology to even attempt to figure out what just happened in your fight...

Not sure why everyone wants every little piece of information to be on display for them... And when it is put on said display, it must be done so in an aesthetically pleasing manner or there will be complaints there... Best thing to do is assume something works as advertised until you have a reason to believe otherwise... Or else, it'll eventually get to the point where Jon starts posting whatever segments of code have been edited with each change...

Then, we'd know everything (as soon as we got someone to decipher what exactly that code means :P), from reward to damage calculations, to the exact stats/equipment necessary to do whatever to whoever... Then the final thing stopping this "game" from turning into a group of people who just like to file information neatly is the randomness. With that out of the way, we'll never need to really think to play this game ever again! Just run some numbers through a calculator right quick, and log on a couple times a day to go through the hoops of that boring BA stuff, and voila. You're set...

There is sometimes such a thing as a bit *too* much information ;)

can Jon create a checkbox system in settings to include/exclude/arrange items in the post-battle stat? so I only see what I need to? even better is write something basic that we can "code". e.g.

HP #HP
AC #AC
Fireball #FB

etc... where the text is just printed and #things is printing the stat of the thing.
