So basically before the changes to power shields, I was planning on not using a tatoo on my tank and just using a TSA and EC. Now, however, with the new change i have decided to use a ToA, along with a power shield. I can't decide what will benefit me more, a MgS, or a BoM. I'm an archer and I trained DM to get rid of a lot of AS and GA, so basically i want to know what you guys think. Should I give up DM for the DD resistance, or go with the BoM and get the extra strength and be allowed to use my DM.
What I think is that I saw this same thread 3 hours ago and didn't have any advice. I like the ST boost my BoM gives me, and I don't even have a ToA. I'd probably advise that.
I'd also advise only posting the same thread once.

I will go for Mgs. Because with ToA, you probably don't train too much STR yourself, and BOM's bonus only applies on trained STR.
yeah i accidentaly posted it in the off topic forum and i knew it shouldn't be there. So I posted it where it should be. The problem was however that i didn't no how to delete my thread in the off topic forum.

actually BOM bonus applies AFTER the TOA :)
I posted this in the old thread because I didn't realize you had posted it multiple times... Oh well, here it goes:
As an archer myself, the MgS will benefit you more. With a ToA you will have less AC, and therefore you are much more vulnerable to DD. More so even because you have absolutely no defense vs DD spells besides that of what little AC you might have. Even with the heavy MgS nerfs, it will still benefit you much more than a BoM could.
Also, correcting lostling (sorry bud, gotta do it), I pulled this straight from the wiki: Bonuses to ST and DX from armors are calculated before the addition of the Tattoo's ST and DX bonuses.
Yet another reason for that smelly ol' MgS with all the nerfs.

guess i was wrong then :) nah no big :)
As a single tank myself, I can tell you that even with an RoBF and an MgS, I'm still getting hit pretty damn hard by magic. Unless you're prepared to go mageseeker or train a MASSIVE AMF on the order of 1/2 to 1/3 of your total exp, you're going to be farmed to death by mages if you go with a BoM.

Lol, JS: you do better with an ELB than you do with a mageseeker against this particular mage team I've got here....is that ELB yours? The mageseeker hits my mage first true enough; but it doesn't do enough damage right now. The ELB on the other hand...I can't touch you with that.
The ELB is x4000 +145 named, and the Mageseeker is x1023 +58 unnamed--yet I do better with the mageseeker vs. about 3 or 4 teams that farm me.
