How do you earn revenues? (in General)

Could someone explain to me how you earn large amounts of revenues in economic clans?

Revenue is earned from receiving money from other players.

Forgers, who do a job and then are paid, are prime candidates to create large revenue. The same goes for loan sharks.

Basically, being in an economic clan in useless until you're much more developed in the game. You can't very well loan items unless you have good (and spare) weapons and armor. As for forging, here's a quote from the Help!wiki:

"The higher your character's Minion Power Rating, the more effective your forging will be. Most players don't recommend forging under 100,000 Minion Power Rating or while you have a New User Bonus (NUB) - however, forging while one has a NUB does increase forging efficiency by the percent of the NUB. There is a charge for using the forge - this charge is 20%, but people who are in an Economic Clans only pay 15%."

By joining a standard fighting clan, you'll be getting a slight bonus to your battle rewards. And that's good. Fighting is the easiest way to earn money for now. With my solo mage (I'm cheap; I picked mage so I didn't have to fund weapons), I got roughly 2 million moneys from logging on everyday and burning the BA in the last two weeks.

If you're really into marketing and economics however, you can have fun with the auction system to pass the time and even earn some money if you're smart. Watch it for a bit, look at the expired auctions to compare prices, and bid on good deals if you can find them. From personally buying and selling stuff in the auctions (and a deal or two in the forums), I might have earned another pretty million in the last week or so. Good luck and have fun. :D

Exceptional knowledge for a NUB! You seemed to grasp the finer points of CB fast. Must be that new tutorial! ;-)

NUB does not increase forge efficiency any longer, so it is POINTLESS to forge with NUB on hand.

Fixed wiki.

Yeah, I was about to say what small just said. I'm off to change the wiki, assuming someone else hasn't already.

Newlin: I would suggest fighting, like others have said. Fighting clans are great, and give a bonus to battle rewards.
Being in an economic clan does not actually increase your revenues; it basically just displays the total amount of money you've received from various sources in a certain time frame. The advantage of them is, as has been said, decreased forging fees and decreased transfer fees. I would suggest battling through your NUB to earn a lot of money as battle rewards, and then you could possibly start a loan service, and make/join an economic clan at that time, if you are interested in the economic aspect of the game. Have fun!
