81. Kept getting messed up on the words that I spelled correctly, but they didn't, so I had to back up and... correct(?) them.

I'm having the same problem JS had. I'm used to the standard 2 spaces after a period. So I mess up a lot there and have to backspace. lol

google "double space after periods" for a plethora of info regarding said standard as well as attempts to eradicate it.

I worked years ago as a typing teacher. And yes, two spaces after the full stop was the rule. Except for police typists who were taught to leave no spaces after a stop.
I've worked some funny jobs in my time.
68 WPM. I'm a two finger typer unfortunately :(

the old person standard. from back when people typed on actual typewriters.
/also can't kick the two-space habit

Whatever you do, don't take the IQ test on the same page. It takes you through all sorts of marketing pages with people trying to sell you offers!
I did make it through to the end though; with an IQ of 129 I'm supposedly 1 point short of being a genius. Lol.
Word made it so after periods the spaces were bigger. I think they started that in 2003. Before that, it was two spaces after the period. I still do it by accident every once in a while.

Great I love it... Jon called it the old person standard. Haha, but yes, when I was in typing class where the instrument used was an actual typewriter and not a computer there were two spaces after a period. So yes I am one of the people using the old person standard.

I usually use LaTeX for my documents. So no worries about any amount of white space you happen to use; the end result is all nicely formatted. I did 52 WPM, on a laptop keyboard. Perhaps I should try again with my IPhone?

I didn't even realize two spaces after a period wasn't standard anymore. I still do it... always have.

IND: if anything shows up red, it means you messed up, and everything after that mistake will count for nothing, even if it was only a missed capitalization.
67 wpm.
