Is there a way to see how much damage SoC absorbs? Not gives back, but just how much it absorbs by itself?
The flash only shows up when you're unleashing damage, which doesn't do mages any good, as we do not use hammers. We should still be able to see how much damage we reduce/absorb.

It's .5% per plus, so take any physical damage and just do some math
If you take 800000 damage and have a +40 SoC it blocked 200000.
X is displayed damage
D is original
P is the plus on the shield
D *(1- (.005*P))) = X
D = X / (1 - .005 P)
Blocked = D - X
Blocked damage =X/(1-.005 P) - X
Blocked Damage= .005P X / (1 - .005P)
Blocked Damage = X / (200/P - 1)

For the record, walls don't get to see how much damage is blocked, and neither does anyone who uses the ToE..

Last time I checked 20% of 800K was 160K, not 200K. :)

Ahh but 20% of 1 million the hypothetical original damage is 200k.
I meant to say 800K is the displayed damage. Guess I wasn't clear.
