I would like to suggest that all items that the blacksmith can upgrade should be eligible for disenchantment, eg. Composite Bows, Leathers, Etc., this would help noobs who buy a mid-range(crap) weapon and heavily upgrade them before trying to get something better.
Further analysis would be welcomed because I'm sure I've overlooked something.

The store would have to only sell base items in this case.

Or the store prices would have to be raised.
I agree 100% all items that you can enchant, you should be able to disenchant as well. It's only logical.
This would not defeat the purpose of pre-upgraded items in store, because disenchanting only gives back like what 50%.
preupgraded items in stores currently only sell for 20%...
how about we can't disenchant it below 100k? that is usually above the store value anyway.

You know I hate to be the callous old guy shaking his fist but... In my day if you bought a battle axe, and were foolish enough to upgrade it far beyond its use, you ate it. You ate it because, there was nothing else to eat. *shakes fist*
In all seriousness it feels like CB is getting dumbed down way too much as of late. Lets not go with the trend of the world of stupidity, computers and all games herein should be complicated, ugly, and the results should be irreversible. I'm not joking (entirely). Really...is there a warning on the register page now: "You may not win"...? Stop trying to sugar coat everything, just play the game, and if you mess up, deal with it!
