Removing Items from Rentals (in General)

I am just curious as to why we cannot remove our own items from rentals.
I put several pieaces of valuable armor in rentals, that I was going to use for my enchanter that I just hired. Come to find out I cannot take them out of rentals even if they are not rented out.

What is the point behind this? I paid a fee to put them in there, at least let me take them out if nobody is renting them.

Also there is a bug, i believe with rentals. You cannot change the Min NW.

I second. I've thought about this before and was actually going to make just such a post!
No refunds to the fee, just the ability to cancel the rental if said item isn't rented.

I would even pay another fee to take my item out of rentals. I need them!

Maybe it's just in case someone was planning to rent them but was waiting til their current rental was over? I'm not sure the reason exactly... But it is possible to rent them from yourself if you need them, but of course that doesn't help if you are trying to sell them.

I jsut don't see the point, If we want our items, we have t orent them ,and that deaftes the entire purpose, it just gives us our money right back and our item, but the item goes back to rentals when it's done, where we can repeat the process.

Why not just let us remove the item from rentals. Im sure it wouldn't be that hard to implement and Im sure almost all of CB would agree it's a valauble change.

Good thing I'm still too new to even consider putting out items for rent so I don't have to deal with this headache.

renting your own items is exactly the same as canceling the rental.

Not exactly. You cannot sell or transfer rented items.

I don't see why anybody would be against this. It would offer more flexability and would not affect the items in rentals, If anything it will bring more items into rentals, because people will feel safer knowing they can always withdraw the item if they need to.
