well... would like input on what weapons to use on them...

so far i've tried a dagger x1 +79 ... dealed a whole 2 damage lol... i tried SODs.... did about 300 damage per hit with 20 Str and x89... not too bad... tried vorpal x26 +29.... 30 damage on someone with a TOE... am considering MOD if i can get my hands on 1... or probably enforcers to kill tanks... any input would be greatly appreciated...

note i wouldnt be using HOC..., i might train SS in the far off future
not to mention i would be using heavy wall armor... these are mini tanks... meant for enchanters(mostly)

range weapons only?
range + melee weapons?
melee weapons only?

yes i have trained a base EC on 1 of my minions...

If you ever use a 20 ST tank, it'll only be capable of taking out 20 HP enchanters unless you pack a *xbow or MoD+SoC.

Warbringer July 13 2008 10:50 PM EDT

I would say exbow, but if you want to use a SoC you can use a MH as well as a MoD.

it is a mini tank... i have not started adding dx and str yet... just aint gona add alot

I think we'd need more information on your long-term strategy to make a solid suggestion. As of now it seems you would be better off using an RoBF coupled with GA. But that has been done and I think you're looking to do something different.

well i pretty much kill mage teams through backlash... i just need a weapon to mop up.... enchanters and such... might add an enforcer on my enchanter to neuter tank teams.... thats about it

Conquest July 14 2008 12:05 AM EDT

Do you expect that to hold up once you start running into SG teams with nolds? Have you considered a PL minion? That would also allow you to train a base decay on your enchanter. Beyond that I'm not sure how well a mini-tank would work since other tanks are what counter you. And another tank will more than likely win that fight unless you put a hefty amount of exp into str/dex.

as i go further up i will shift my enchanter backwards... from there he would most likely use decay + enforcerxbow + NSC... this strat was never meant to take on tanks...

Conquest July 14 2008 12:38 AM EDT

Well I don't see the enchanter actually hitting a tank without a lot of excess exp dumped into dex, but that would digress from the anti-mage strat you are employing.

Aside from that aren't you overkilling it already as far as "mage killing" teams go? It would seem that you could turn one of the minions into an offensive character to finish teams off with - and still trash mage teams. A CoC or SG mage would seem best suited for that.

If the tanks don't use DBs it's just a matter of getting enough pth on the Exbow.

correct :)
