So I tested out to see how much my RoBF reduced the damage from ZRT's EF and got some surprising results:
My Lead minion (with EB, TG, and HoE)
With RoBF (avg of 8 casts)
4,076,334
Without (avg of 8 casts)
3,822,847
That's right, a 3.8mil named RoBF increased incoming magic damage about 6%....
Taking out the highest and lowest values from each set (to get rid of more extreme values) the difference is actually up to 8%
So the point of my RoBF vs EF is what exactly?

Is it reducing CoC/MM/FB damage correctly?

Versus... FB the RoBF lowers damage by about 17%... so it appears there is damage reduction at work there.

20% of 3.8mill = 760k damage...
It's approximately 26% for a mid-level RoBF, theoretically.
