The utter horror... no more quad digit XP gains, no more occasional 3+k XP during crazy time... so horrible.
*shivers*
I know, dude. It takes me like a full week's XP to add two points to my UC...

So um what's your usual amount of total XP gained per fight? I can't really top 400 and I'm supposed to be in 7/20...

I'm a single minion, so if you're a multi-minion, the XP gets spread, and the listed number is lower.
I get lows of around 180, highs of around 410... so, aprox 300 XP per battle on average, nowadays.
I used to get an occasional 4300-ish gain during crazy XP time *sniff*.
Seriously, I can now much better understand what's the incentive to start NCBs over and over again... retraining is fairly easy, you make that XP back quite fast... your tattoo grows noticeably... and a lot of other nice things, like actually changing your fightlist every now and then even without retrains.
But now ? It feels like I've hit a brick wall and not even moving.

You do (well, I did) get used to it. Things change, just not as fast. Mind you, my NUB was only 470% or so, so I guess it wasn't as much of a shock for me.
As you said, you can always NCB again if you like the fast paced development :)

I think I'll do a RoE-SFBM NCB sooner rather than later just for kicks :)
I mean, hello, now I have a 3+ mil tattoo, damn, that will be a nasty ToE when reinked :P
I think with a little bit of effort I might actually make it to 6/20 where the grass is greener :))

Or I could start forging instead :)

No, forging was even more mind-numbingly boring, I remember now :(
'ditto my NCB suddenly disappeared.
