What determines them? I've noticed that people often comment about "My N*B was THIS big" and I've seen that my brother's is different than mine. Is there a random factor in the equation, or is the bonus determined by some pre-existing variable?!?!?!?

it's based on the top VPR character size, and it is reduced/buffed according to Jon's definition of "balanced."

318% here, it is because we have a 6 month NCB Badfish. Lucario has the old 4 month NUB I believe... at least I hope so! Or I am jealous.

It depends on where the bonus was at when you created it - Lucario's was before it was extended to 6 months, yours was after, so there's an adjustment.
