"The following actions could not be performed:
A Beaked Axe [34x3] (+0) (tournament characters may not sell valuable items directly to the store. use auctions instead)"
Its NW is a puny 21k, but, as we all know, "Net Worth is not a measure of market value." No, this item is tasty.
It's impossible to even begin to price! Look at Beaked Axe in the meta-stats page, and see that it has no number entered in the "Avg price - NW" column. Never has one even been put in auctions, since everybody knows that no one has the liquid cash on hand to actually match even an absurdly low starting bid. These items can never change hands; they are a mark of the true masters of the game, those who are truly rich.
In addition to the conspicuously absent pricing guide on the stats page, doesn't it seem a bit suspicious that the "Strategy and Comments" section on its page in the wiki includes a forging guide for that specific item, and nothing further? What are you hiding, Jon?
This matter troubles me. It troubles me that a near-base common weapon holds such mysterious power that it cannot be forsaken. It troubles me that I am cut off in all my attempts to find the source of its power. But most of all, it troubles me that my tourney character can't get his freakin' $4000 CB to sell it back to the store.
