The_Tri-Blender_Tournament!
Contrary to what a Blending tournament implies, this contest will not involve preexisting CB wealth, power, or chat status. I'm trying to form a mini-CB world where only the purest "gamer" personalities will shine. Join the contest will not cost you anything but time.

How_It_Works
The Tri-Blender Tournament is a composed of three different challenges, each organized to test one or two of the characteristics which (I think) makes a good CB player. The final elimination follows these three rounds, and there the remaining players will slowly... I am sure you get the idea. How the final elimination works will stay a mystery, until when I finally think of something. xD

Round I: Meticulousness and Affability
Round II: Cleverness and Creativity
Round III: TBA (to be announced)

The rounds will differ from each other in goals, but here some general things to keep in mind:
- The are no rules, except for my stated goals. A player can accomplish those goals by any means necessary. And everything else is regulated by the player's own sense of morality and foxiness.
- Each round will take ~24-48 hours, depending on my schedule. This is to also accommodate for the different timezones and to allow for people to ponder about various things. Like why the sky is blue.
- Nonparticipating (unless you explain the situation to me) is the only instant elimination (for obvious reasons). You and your peers are the only executioners here. Bribing me, although I don't mind the least, will get you nowhere.
- Having secret alliances would not be the worse of ideas.
- Having fun is a pretty good one too ;)

Tournament_Tokens
Or points if you prefer, is the currency of this tournament. Collecting Token will be a measure of how well you're doing, and these vouchers will be awarded out during the rounds based on... yeah. Although they might seem worthless at the moment, owning tokens will give you a nice advantage. I will announce the token standings at the beginning of each round.

Note_To_Non-Invited_Folk_Who_Are_Still_Interested
It is not too late to join. You will be suffering some a slight "token" handicap though, but you are encouraged to post and announce your arrival! The more the merrier, eh? And with luck, I probably won't be able to differentiate you from those who have been formally invited. Best of luck!

Count me in as well! Although I am a little confused as well.

It was a dark and stormy night. MrMage pondered his situation carefully. A curious creature known only as a "the curious creature" had delivered an invitation to participate in that most dastardly of competitions, the Tri-Blender tournament. MrMage had only moments to consider. "I don't particularly like to try things, and I don't like blenders" he thought to himself (there was an incident with a frozen blended drink machine in his youth that was still far too painful to recount). And yet somehow he knew that he must heed the siren call. And so it was with great trepidation that he accepted his tokens from the curious creature and accepted his place among the elite of CB.

The Experience arrives on his valiant steed, and showers everyone with delicious cake! And continues to hand out delicious sweets for all - That's not all, he even offers free dental work for those who need it!

I'll join in late. /me kicks himself for being hesitant about posting in the invitation thread, oh well. I really don't get whatever this is all about, but I'll try my best heh.

Blackshadowshade arrives unnoticed by most of the crowd gathering for the TriBlender Tournament. Hidden away in his shadow cloak, he moves quickly but silently towards the host of the tournament. In a quiet moment, when there seems to be no one else in line to register, he appears briefly to register his presence. Those few who happen to see him notice that he hands over a parchment scroll and a tiny black bag to Lucario.

As Lucario takes a quick look at the contents of the parchment, a seductively elusive melody issues from it. He closes it quickly, and then places it somehow into the bag, even though the bag looks far smaller than the scroll.

Blackshadowshade bows deeply and then leaves to observe the other competitors.

I'll arrive bringing my dart case,12 good "magic the gathering" decks,and a chess/backgammon/cribbage gameset.

I have also brought 2 cases of ice cold beer(1 Coors and 1 Budweiser),a case of mountain dew,a case of coca cola, and a few snacks(Doritos,Fritos,Potato chips with french onion dip and some Big Cheez-its) to share to help get this wonderful event started.

/me strolls out and bring comes back carrying his trusty "hitchhikers guide to carnage" and a towel...

=x thats actually the only 2 things i ever need...
