I. The Story - new section with the explanation of how this tournament came to be.
II. The Grand Prize ヨ a reminder of why you are here.
III. The Link to the Official Thread ヨ in case you need itナ
IV. Current Players ヨ list of totally random people, 'cause I thought itメd be funny. Quickly followed by why they have more Tokens than the last time their names were listed.
V. Round 2 ヨ why you are reading this thread.
VI. The Future - some insight about the next, and final, round.

If you are morbidly confused as I am about what the happenings and going ons of this tournament are, then I think I owe you a clarification. At least as well as I understand the Tri-Blender, and here it is:

~[The_Story]~
Once upon a time, there was a young boy with a dream of meeting somebody awesome. How? He was not sure. When? Even less certain. Who? Only fate would truly tell. However the boy already knew this person by characteristic, but not by name. He or she would be a paladin among gamers and a dragonslayer in games. When the young boy finally found his wealth in the world, an idea occurred to him that would, perhaps, help him live out his dream. The Tri-Blender Tournament, it was to be called. A name that rang sweetly on the voices of bards as they told their tales of knights and gladiators, and the Tri-Blender was to be the greatest story ever told! Pitting the greatest of Carnage Blenders in tests of heroism for a chance at the grand prize, a wealth that no other contest or tournament has ever offered. A free month of forging contracts, two months of fighting rewards, another XBox 360 game, couple dozen visits to Starbucks, or 6 grams of marijuana. And with only the headlines in mind and not a thought of what it involved, the young boy began the Tri-Blender. So it was. The first test that the tournament had for its contestants was a challenge of courage. The sign up was intentionally made vague and mysterious, but not forcefully discouraging. Daring to be extraordinary, those who accepted the call to arms completed the first test. The second, unfortunately, became more of a "do you get CMs? Yes/no?" Then came the test of teamwork and loyalty. And next was the test of creativity and wit. Which brings us to here and now. If you have any further questions, please CM me or find me in chat. :D

First, to address what happened last round. Everybody had to organize themselves into teams, and everybody who attempted to form a team and chatmailed me are still listed under Current Players. However, there was a twist: the chatmails had to be written in a certain format. Failure to do so resulted in Token penalties for last round and in this round, but each player of a team that slipped was offered a chance to go solo and avoid the penalties. Many of these players also asked me which particular individuals messed up. Here is the second twist: everybody did except for Oddbird and Draugluin who took everything literally, including the quotation marks >_>. This twist was to allow for more diverse teams (ie single minions, two minions, three minions), but the Token penalties are still very real (ie experience penalties for multiple minions). Also a thing to note, teams will have more total Tokens than solo players but they will require more teamwork to use this advantage. And with that over with, here are the Token rewards :D
+12 Tokens for everybody who passed Round 1, but 50% Token penalty for being on a team, and +1 for staying with the group. Then there are the bonus Tokens from giving riddles in Part 1. Oddbird gets +2 for including magical playboy bunnies, and Hakai gets +1 since itメs the thought that counts.

~[Round_2: Fair_Day_Riddling!]~
A good Blender is capable of quick thinking and thinking outside the box. These traits are often shown in the complex strategies the master CBist takes to the scoreboards. Show that same amount of talent in the Tri-Blender riddling arena! Your team MUST answer a total of at least 3 riddles to move on to the final round. Any three. You may also answer the other riddles to your heartメs content and start off the final round with a bang, as you might say. For teams, only one person needs to answer a riddle for every teammate to be rewarded the respective bounties. But! Everybody on a team also suffers from a 50% Token penalty, so make sure to answer twice the number :P Send me a CM with the answers for each question labeled, please. This round ends at midnight Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, which means you have slightly more than 51 hours. And counting... :D

So in short, 51 hours until deadline. Somebody from your team ought to answer at least three of the riddles. CM me the answers. 51 hours until deadline. Why would you want to answer more than three? Iメm just about to explain that. Have fun :D

~[The_Future]~
Bored people. Yes, you bored people. Thank you for bearing with us and staying in the tournament as long as you have. I assure you, your efforts have not been wasted. For everybody else who has been scavenging for every spare Token, you are about to be finally rewarded. The next round is the third round of the tournament, after which the winner of the Grand Prize will be announced. The final round of this tournament will be an elimination tournament. Each player will own a minion that represents them in the tournament. The elimination will play out in an old school turn-based battle royal. Think Final Fantasy meets Super Smash Bros. meets Carnage Blender. In this arena, there will be a Store that has CB references for you to purchase for Tokens; these will include spells, weapons, armor, and whatnot, and being able to use this gear will help you out immensely in the final round. Including some team-friendly spells and skills. Makes you want to go back and take a second stab at those riddles, eh? Do not fear if you are coming into this last round a few Token short though. Slay one of your competitors and you will get all of their Tokens and gear, as long as they donメt kill you first! Last one standing wins. Thoughts, comments, is it the finale you have been longing for?

More questions from the asking.

Q: Can I buy more than one item in a turn?
A: Nope, sorries.

Q: Does the Vorpal Sword do bonus damage to characters who defend?
A: Nope, the bonuses from the Vorpal is only affected by a character's permanent DR (basically, equipped items). Nothing from enchantments, nothing from defending.

Q: I sent you what action I wanted to do, so did you receive it?
A: I replied back to everything I jotted down with "Noted."

8 1/2 hours remaining :)
