FL man arrested on false 911 call charges (in Off-topic)

"JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The sauce for a spicy Italian sandwich was apparently a must have for one Florida man. The man, Reginald Peterson, called 911 twice after a sandwich shop left off the sauce.

Peterson initially called the emergency number Thursday so that officers could have his subs made correctly, according to a police report. The second call was to complain that police officers weren't arriving fast enough.

Subway workers told police that Peterson, 42, became belligerent and yelled when they were fixing his order. They locked him out of the store when he left to call police.

When officers arrived, they tried to calm Peterson and explain the proper use of 911. Those efforts failed, and he was arrested on a charge of making false 911 calls." -- Associated Press

And we seriously let these people breed...

Forgive the double post, but...

See what happens when you try to leave CB?

Now how are we going to bail Ranger out of jail? xD

BadFish August 5 2008 2:56 AM EDT

I think florida prisons accept cb dollars along with cash bonds.

He deserves to get arrested.

People don't try that at Quiznos! We make sandwiches wrong all the time, but the end result looks and tastes good enough that you don't care :P Now if only we could get people to stop requesting provolone and american cheese... :P

j'bob August 5 2008 9:41 AM EDT

Hatch, you work at Quiznos??? Can you get me a discount????
DIBS ON HATCH IF HE CAN GET ME A QUIZNOS DISCOUNT!
;p

TheHatchetman August 5 2008 9:45 AM EDT

Quitting that job soon as I find another one (tired of swallowing my pride and kissing booty around my bosses only to find that while I do everything exactly the way I'm told to, it's not enough), so come on in and I'll double your meat and halve the price of a sandwich ^_^ What are they gonna do? Fire me? :P

Yukk August 5 2008 9:46 AM EDT

I bet if you started putting peanuts/peanut butter in all the subs folks would start calling 911 Hatch ! Some of them may even not get arrested, though you might so maybe it's not such a good idea.

Just be sure to hit all the common allergies, I guarantee a 911 call soon.

Colonel Custard [The Knighthood] August 5 2008 10:23 AM EDT

Wheat is one of the more common allergies, believe it or not. What you gotta do is find out where those people go instead of Quiznos, and make sure you get some bread in there.

I think this story is hilarious. It's like a joke. Like I probably would've thought it was hilarious even if I had been there, as an employee or something. They locked him out! I would so high-five whichever one of my coworkers ran over and locked the door while he was outside.

He called the police to back him up because his sandwich was made wrong... I need to start bringing police with me to theme parks, buy the food from all the kiosks there, and then order them to arrest each attendant for overcharging.

Why is j'bob now called Smiling j'bob? He went to see hatchetman about natural sandwich enhancement.
