Just wondering what your opinions are. Account images are cool, because they are seen often in the forums. However, character images... do you guys actually care about them? I turned them off in my settings long ago, and they just kind of increase load time if you have them on.
I *heart* char images. I know of a great many folks who look at them even if they have them turned off during fights.
I will take this opportunity to request char bios, or at least the ability to link to pages in the wiki from char pages!

I like them.
I turned them off from my fights, but I like to see them when I inspect opponent character pages and for when they inspect mine - I suspect many others will feel the same way.
It just adds personality to the character.

My load times are pretty fast with or without, and imho, the character images help give my characters a kind of personification. I like them, and I will sorely miss them if they were removed.
i think they are a good addition especially given the fact that you can turn em off for increased performance...go, go status quo!

I honestly couldn't care less about them. It's just a little thing you may/may not do before you start a character. But I don't think people really admire or inspect them on a regular basis.

I don't see them during fights, but I like to have one on my chars and I like to see it on other people's. It adds personality.

I like them. But what I would love to have is an option to turn it off or on depending on what browser I use. At work I burn some BA using my Iphone and there I could do without the images, as GPRS is slow.

I like them for the same reason I like player/account avatars: it allows me to put a "face" with the name. Or in this case, a "face" with the characters on my fight list. If I start getting too much red text (losses) vs. the guy with the scary looking squirrel picture, I know to delete the scary looking squirrel from the list.
Read the names you say? Bah, that for people with lower screen resolutions and better eyesight.
I remember...when I first joined. I thought the game was damn complicated and wow, I could never stomach all that was going on...
But then I discovered how cool it was that you could totally customize your teams. Do I want exactly 33% of my exp into ST, and 5,676% of it in DX? Fine, I can do that. I decide what's going on. I name the minions, I name the team, I name myself, and I can put images unto those names. "See, this is what my team looks like, this is their name, and this is their emblem."
Best part is, my opponents do it to. It's part of CB's charm, I think, and some characters, name, picture and strategy put together, are very cool works of...let's say "art".
CB is a game where you can be totally anonymous...and where you don't even have to interact, but it wouldn't be alive enough without the names and the pictures.
So heck yeah I love the character pictures. To me they are essential, like many other little things.
*And on a 5mb/s connection, they don't really influence my load times, so I am biased on the speed issue, obviously*

Absolutely, I don't have them on during fighting, but they seem to make characters more interesting to look at.
I like them myself. They add a little flavor, let you make your team stand out, and if people don't like them they always have the option to turn them off. But they're a big plus in my book!

Don't like. We already have user pics that's all we need.
I like character images, even though I couldn't find one for the Sea Sprite. I had to improvise.
