Hey people. Just wondering if there are any Gaia Online people here. I finally got my account back after a year of it being hacked, so I'm super happy =). And apparently some of my items have skyrocketed in price!

You know how the marketplace shows the average price people buy items for? It could be possible to manipulate the market a little... set an item for a slightly higher price than average, and sell back and forth between mule accounts to bump up the average =)

Last I talked with Sagger, he wasn't particularly fond of the idea of anyone manipulating the marketplace.

I agree, however, that the 'Average Price' stat is flawed. Those who undercut to sell their items more quickly tend to lower it faster than those who sell for higher.

You know, I really like the trade system on Gaia. I wonder if CB could implement something like that. That'll make trades much cleaner and fraud-free.

The boxers are worthless. And you can get a couple things for 270 gold, though not much. The cash is used in the Gaia Cash shop. Though I don't think there's much for $25...

But with the dailies and the randomly awarded gold for just simply visiting pages or going through towns, you'll have a decent bank account in no time ^_^

Though you won't come anywhere near my bank account without investing USD =P

For newbies! One great way to make gold is through the pinball game. And it's a fun filler time when you're waiting on CB!

The point is entertainment.

There's a lot of things to do there, not just one.

what kind of stuff?

Get gold, dress up your avatar, walk around towns, jigsaw puzzles, PINBALL, minishops, design your own home, design your own car, race with your car, pwn, get pwnd, play the marketplace, etc.

They seriously have a cinema where you can watch real movies? I dont have time to look into it, thought maybe you all have done that already, =)

Oh what joy!) Also, you can see other peoples' avatars in a movie theater so a CB movie night out would be pretty cool. =P
