why do you need to refresh the left frame so often?

I'd rather have bookmarks rather than the refresh key on the left frame.

I agree refreshing left frame would be a nice add-on.

I find that my listed BA is not always accurate. This normally happens if I fight many opponents in rapid succession. The left frame does not refresh fast enough/enough times to display the correct (lower) BA.

I should note this this is really only a problem when I seemingly have 1 or 2 BA left and I keep getting the Out Of BA page. Otherwise it's not noticeable enough to warrant a request for a fix.

if you hit 'back' after spending a BA, the frame will show your BA before the battle. If afterwards, you spend a BA, it will remove 2 (possibly more, depending on how many times you back up your browser) from your displayed total and set it back properly... Doing this after you've spent your BA means that you do not have the 2 BA to spend so that the displayed amount can be reset properly. Unless your connection and the server are much much much much faster than I expect, this is likely how you are running into these problems, as I often spend 20+BA in under 5 seconds by holding down the enter key and have yet to come across this.

Far as updating BA, if you enter the forge, your BA updates upon entry (no need for any BA spending, just walk in...). If it's not an issue of BA, and you just transferred a char or something, it doesn't take long at all to refresh the left frame via right-click...

Not against a refresh link on the sidebar, but not for it either. Just figured I'd point out the potential causes/solutions currently in place. ^_^

Hatch, it is not a back button issue as you suggest. This is a separate issue that I now can guess is probably related to other internet connection problems I have at home. If nobody else is having this problem, I'll assume it's on my end. Either way, it's not troublesome enough to bother Jon with a fix request anyway.

furthermore, when you switch from one character, such as normal to another, such as a tourney character, then your ba stays on the number the first character has rather than the character you are switching to.

To check the current BA amount. What 'Home' used to be good for, before that page was changed.

when i switch to my t char, it doesn't work, however when i switch back to igot it does work. i not only reloaded sidebar, i also closed and restarted browser. still the same behavior.

Man, if I was still fighting, I would be SO elated!

The fight link and change char link stop working after a couple clicks now. I have to keep on refreshing the side bar to get them to work.

somehow reloading BA does this. reverted, for now.

And once I refresh it and do the "find a user" feature, I'll have to refresh it again before it works again. I know of at least 2 other users having this same problem.

Actually, now that you've changed it back, it works again. ^_^

put back the reloaded. bug was jquery's fault; added workaround.

While you're at it, Jon, what about a way of updating the score of opponents without having to add and delete someone from your favorites list?

Browser doesn't load properly when using the sidebar. When I click fight, nothing appears to happen, no loading bar at the bottom, or moving thing under close button of FF. I don't know what happens, sometimes you have to click fight again cos it gets stuck loading.

Not sure if this issue is related, but it wasn't happening before.
