yeah I am on a wireless connection. my internet works just fine.. but my limewire is having trouble connecting. what should I do?
Uninstall
(it would also be smart to make sure your virus scan is still working and to run a few web based scans, Kaspersky Labs has a good one)
if you do insist on using it, make sure you understand share folders and check the location of any turbo tax or similar files as well as quicken/money data files.
Make sure you forward the port limewire is using to your IP address.

REMOVE LIME-WIRE IT'S A TURD!
A brown, shiny turd.
I view any computer that currently has or has had Limewire installed to be irreparably compromised. Who knows just what sort of malicious programs your computer could be infected with. You should nuke the entire Windows installation from orbit, it's the only way to sure.
