You probably didn't get scammed by eBay, no, and I suggest you take it up with them directly. Much like Paypal, eBay can sometimes take action before words but their issues are generally easily resolved so shoot them an e-mail.

"There are two reasons why an account may be suspended from eBay:

Serious violations of eBay's Rules and Policies - If you would like to appeal your suspension, please include any relevant information and reply directly to the suspension notice or contact us.

Non-payment of eBay Fees - The most common cause of suspension for non-payment is that the automatic payment method you have on file is outdated, or has been recently declined. If you received an error notice while trying to resolve your suspension by updating a credit / debit card or registering an account, see Reinstating Your Account. If you received an error notice while trying to resolve your suspension by updating a credit / debit card or registering an account, contact us.

If you receive an email about your account being suspended

When your account is suspended, eBay will send a notification to the registered email address associated with your account. This email will also appear on your My Messages page in My eBay.

If you do not know why you were suspended or if for some reason you do not receive a notice, contact us for more information."

Please make sure the e-mail you received is authentic. I get "violations" e-mails all the time -- on things I haven't purchased, from sellers I've never heard of, or on items I've purchased "months ago".

After you verify that it is legitimate, 1-800-701-3229 should help you if you have your 6-digit PIN.

I second the response from Bast, I got an e-mail seemingly from paypal saying there was a problem with my account but when I called them I was told that my account was fine and it was probably a scam.

By the way, never send anything to Nigeria if you do not already have the money in a secure account (not paypal). Nigeria is the number 1 country in frauds over Ebay. I know this from working at UPS-- we had to raise the price to ship to Nigeria to deter Ebay people from shipping things like PS3s over there and getting ripped off in the process (money dissapears and the address given/telephone/etc actually didnt exist/etc)
(BTW the price to ship a PS3 to Nigeria after packing is ~$800 USD)
