They were probably just going to "try and" do the right thing. Wouldn't you do that if if was a sign on "you're" property? I mean, sure, they "could of" done something less overt, but that just "begs the question": What else could they do?
"Irregardless", that's a good news story.

Ouch Sut. Bast might take a contract out on you for that, or at least sue you for pain and suffering.

Your post gave me a headache. :(
That's better "then" the Blowhard Joe news today! If only I had so much time on my hands.

While their cause is far from an evil one, vandalism is a freaking un-classy act.
But, come on, that sign should have been properly fixed a long time ago. It's not like only three days have passed since the 30's.
Grammar doesn't have to be 100% perfect everywhere, but in public places, it should.
I'll keep turning to Spider-Man or Solid Snake whenever I need an heroic feat accomplished :P

I'd say maybe 20-30% of the English-speaking population knows when to use homonyms (in particular, "than"). Of those that can, most have learned English as a second/third/etc. language.
Most will never use anything they learned in high school English class when they read Taming of the Shrew. But even the most articulate of those will also never use anything they learned in the second quarter of third grade Language Arts class.
I believe in yoo-nee-cornz.

Irregardless, I believe Hatch is two cynical.
I think we should be all thankful that the general typing ability of the average teenage Myspacer has not affected us here in our relatively safe haven of CB.

Thank God that CB is a "high-brow" internet game.
Armour, not amour, Bast. =P
On a more serious note, all they did to "vandalize" the sign, if you can call it that, was to black out a wrongfully placed apostrophe and add a comma where one belonged.
That's seriously No Big Deal.
Where do you draw the line between serious vandalism and not serious vandalism?
I believe it's a hard thing to do, there being so many ways to screw up another's propriety.
That being said, I see the act as a big deal, always. Especially on national (the people's) propriety. Just me, though.
Monsieur makes an excellent point. People are always screwing up my propriety and it's a big deal every time!
