Solo Tank. (in General)

What would be your ideal solo tank build?

All armour/weaponry are available.

Personally, I have always wanted a full Elven tank/archer - but I don't see the point of having all that DX/skill bonuses. Since DX isn't very important now, unless I'm missing something.

I liked my setup. 1:1:1 HP:ST:DX. ELB/Mageseeker, BGs, DBs, AoI, HoC, RoBF, MgS/BoM. MgS if you're going with the ELB, BoM for the Mageseeker. Downsides: ELB: Not too great vs. GA teams unless you invest in DM and dump the MgS, not great vs. evasion mage teams. Mageseeker: Better vs. teams with walls and mages, worse vs. tank teams and single mages. Both: Expensive. I was running on about 170M of non-tat gear. Pros: Very, very good vs. non (ToA and single) tanks. Very nice vs. non-evasion single mages. Can hold its own vs. Evasion/RoBF teams with equal or less HP. Doesn't tank like other archers if you're forced to go into melee.

If I was going to start over.
UC Tank still. Mage Seeker, AoM, RoE, Elven Boots and Gloves and HoE.
1/5 Unarmed Combat
1/5 hit points
1/5 strength
2/5 dex.

I actually don't think single tanks are that great, I rather would build a double damage team.

I got quite a ways running a single archer with a SF tat. You lose out on the armour a bit, but get added magic damage for a bit of doule whammy action.

That should have read 'double'.
