ELB or MSK (in General)

I've asked this before but I convoluted my thread with strategy help too.

So simple and plain:
With my current strategy, when I change my MM minion to an Archer, do I use MSK or ELB?

ELB is good all around except for those specialized multi-minion team with powerful mages. That's where the MSK comes in handy. For me, it's ELB all the way.

I liked the MSKer because it was really easy to choose my targets, just go look at the familiar page and click on the characters, but the Elb is far better all around if you don't have another damage dealer.

move your tank to the front and use a ELB and get a AoI then you wont need a msk because you will have more kill slots

What about shocking grasp? that ignores the effects of the AoI, you'll be dead in 3 rounds.

any DD will ignore AoI, not only SG. MsK all the way (if you want to beat me that is) :D

MSK to pwn this guy^^

Thanks for the replies, and from what I can tell, it's basically whichever one suits my playstyle. Anti-mage or All-around. I guess I'd probably just go for whichever I find first within my price range/encumbrance range. Again, thanks for the replies!

btw, I keep my tank in back to counter MM, I'm not as worried about SG because I'm mostly ranged combat so I should be doing most of my damage in ranged.

I can last against an ELB long enough to win, whereas against an MSK I'm dead in the water before I have a chance to fire.

Huge difference in damage but if that damage is 'wasted' on enchanters then what's the point?
