I thought that Archery only worked with "Bow" weapons, but I have seen a couple teams use SoD with Archery, such as Phaete's character 'Lina'.

Yup, archery only works on bows, but there's plenty of people that just want to try out other weapons (the SoD might be a rental) but don't retrain because they'll go back to the original one.

The SoD is rented, i am upgrading an ELB with my money and did not want to untrain and then retrain, i would lose more XP that way.
There are not many large ELBs for rent.
My character had archery and a SoD for like a week too. But, now I don't, lol.
