Sorry for the stupid question, but I couldn't find the answer in the Wiki or the forums--
Is there a way to turn off the botcheck sound?

What sound? The one with greasemonkey?

You only get sound if you're using what's left of Verifex's old Greasemonky script.
Click on the little monkey icon to switch it off, or un-install it from your browser to get rid of the alert.

I do have a sound, without the greasemonkey script. My computer makes a sound whenever a window opens, including the botcheck window ;)
