Defense against Guardian Angel? (in General)

I was wondering what the best spell to use against Guardian Angel is? Thanks in advance.

The only foolproof plan against Guardian Angel is likely Dispel Magic. I can't think of anything else equally effective.

Armor reduces it and if your looking for a DD spell use magic missile. However it gets less effective in the high levels.

DM isn't foolproof with the RoS in play.

I use fireball and I do about 6-7k dmg atm.

MM is your best bet against RoS'ed GA. FB and CoC both suck because you take massive GA return damage.

DM works as well but forces you to avoid other EO's unless you use a Rune of Solitude.

the RoS is mildly useful against DM... it's hardly the answer to it

If you deal enough damage, you can "overload" their GA so you actually take less damage than you would normally.

DM is pretty fool-proof if you commit to it, and it stacks better than the DEs it fizzles.

robf works well against it as its damage is not returned by ga.

Switch your familiar to a RoS and see how much DM you decrease. ;P

Titan, RoS wouldn't help Novice much. A little bump in his AS and a huge loss of offense. Not a workable strategy for him.
I used to use RoS but it was so worthless I gave up on it. The difference between RoS and RoE was one extra person on my fightlist.
Yay, and my whole team was built around EDs and the RoS.

The reality is exactly what Sut said all it takes to overcome ANY RoS is commitment. It's not a solution, just a stop gap block to keep smaller DM users from destroying you.
