on my 4th minion would i be better off with EC rather than ablative shield?

on my 4th minion's ablative shield the level is around 100k.. and my other ablative shield is 300k.

I never found that using PL with GA too be very effective since the GA only will backlash the damage dealt to the PL.
A fire familiar may not be the best choice because your team seems like it has a lot of HP, therefore survivability. It only has 1 damage dealer besides your SG, so early damage is probably not an option. So I'd probably go with a junctioned IF.
Now to get to your actual question - not many people use EC unless they have a tank of their own. I'd use AMF on your last minion, maybe keep a small AS.

switch the FF for a IF. Also, you might want to look into training natural HP on your PL guy and getting him a TSA.

Thats good, I see you dropped your PL. That is a solid set up, maybe a little vulnerable to DM. Just keep your AMF/AS's large and it should be fine.

It's also extremely vulnerable to my Magic Missle. But lets keep it that way :).

Yea, it's probably because I have Alatars instead of Noldorins right now, so your anti-magic field is killing me. You also have no resistance to my DM, so I really cut your hp, but your angel still works pretty fine.

ha. hmm. that explains it cause i was just farming you last night at about 2 am. then i log on this morning at 9 pm and its like what i'm losing to him now what the heck. Those AG's helped you alot vs. me.
