Make me a banner!! (in Contests)

Alright, so I was planning on sticking a CB banner in one of my signatures, but when I went to get one I was disappointed. So, instead of settling for a banner I'm unhappy with, I'm petitioning you fine folks to make me a banner.

The requirements are simple. Make it look good, and keep it at a decent size. It can be animated if you want, it doesn't have to be. Also, I know that CB's color is red. But I prefer blue.

Out of all the ones available, the only one I even considered using was the Recommended Dose one.


Anyway, I'll be here to help you through what I like/don't like. Sorry I don't have more for you to go on, but I like seeing people's creativity at work. Sometimes it surprises me and I end up liking something I never thought I would have.

The PRIZE for this contest currently sits at 500k. I may raise it though depending on the amount of work that this entails, or if you folks feel the prize is not enough for the time it takes.

what you want it to say?

Something to entice a person to want to click on the banner.

Also it has to refer to CB in some way. But I didn't much care for any of the phrases on the current banners. ;p

The colors on that blend nicely. I kinda like it. It is a bit big, as you stated, but that can be fixed easily. ^_^

The banner size seems too big, but I can't be bothered fixing it.

Wow, experience. I like that one quite a bit ^_^ It certainly grabbed my attention right away. And The graphics are nicely added as well. The colors are perfectly balanced on it, also. I think the others should fear your banner ;p

As I told you in PMs yesterday before I had to leave, Tal...I like the last one you did. The other two are simply too plain, and I don't much care for the way the colors blend on them.


Oh, and Gun that was freaking hilarious.

Hmmmm. I suppose it would help if I gave this thing a deadline, huh?

Hmm. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to agree with Brent on this one, Slayer.

It took me 3 rounds of the text to be able to read all what it said. And if you want me to be completely honest, I didn't much care for the text. It just didn't strike me as funny enough :(

The animation of the text is pretty cool though, and the background isn't too bad (for being red). I kinda liked it, actually.

Due to popular demand, a 'fiery' version of my previous banner. It glows!



Zooom! Zooom! Okay this can become quite annoying, but here it is anyway.

After some fiddling... You know, it's weird, you get an idea and you make something nice, but after that the idea just fades and (to my opinion) all the rest is well, mediocre. Needless to say, I like the iced banner best.

First version seemed a little too sedate. Reduced size, and made them more dynamic.

Alright. I really couldn't pick between the two, so I let chat have their say this morning. Here are some of the things said:
